The 1619 Project Education Conference

The Pulitzer Center’s 1619 Project Education Conference is a virtual webinar celebration of the learning models created by a network of educators to share 1619 and its rich resources with students. Participant include educators from around the US that have created and implemented learning materials sourced from The 1619 Project

The conference consisted of several panels and discussions. I reviewed the conference webinar footage for impactful quotations that capture and communicate the enriching educational value of the teacher cohort. It was important to present the information at a fast pace while retaining accessibility and viewer comfort. In addition to enterprise highlights videos, several shorter social cuts and promotional videos were developed to promote the event and future calls for applications. Program branding and design by Lucy Crelli.
