Daniel Vasta is the Multimedia and Digital Marketing Coordinator at the Pulitzer Center in Washington, D.C. As a communications team member, Daniel uses multimedia storytelling and digital marketing tools to help support the Pulitzer Center's brand and tell its story across digital platforms.

Before joining the Pulitzer Center, Daniel worked as a visual journalist in New Jersey, Indiana, and Michigan, where he covered community-oriented stories such as environmental pollution, politics, sports, holistic agriculture, immigration, and homelessness. In 2018 Daniel graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he earned his BFA in Photographic Arts and Sciences—Photojournalism.

Throughout his career, Daniel has sought to celebrate daily life and is driven to call attention to social issues. He is often drawn to misunderstood and marginalized communities, where his intimate approach to visual storytelling may help facilitate a compassionate dialogue for greater understanding and empathy.
